but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

Life in four countries -- Story and history of a happy person ... I just love Life. It is Worth Living
I have experienced and seen quite a bit, traveled to a number of places. I lived and worked in four countries, each with its own unique language, religion, and culture.
I was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, beautiful desert country with sweet fruits and ancient places. I have got my finance degree and first MBA there. By now, it seems it was so long ago… like in a previous life.
With an IBTCI consulting project in banking supervision I moved to work to Almaty, Kazakhstan, interesting place with nice, educated people.
Next move was to live and work in Moscow, Russia. Moscow taught me a lot -- huge beautiful city, not tolerant to those without stamina.
From there, I applied and was accepted to Isenberg School of Management, UMASS Amherst, USA and got my second MBA degree. To the question why I needed the second one, I used to respond ‘To let me breach a ceiling, it seemed society wanted me to have credentials… western degree… So I got it. Plus, it was a great learning experience.”
For the last five years I have lived and worked in Western Massachusetts, US. Next step is to move to a larger and/or warmer city.
All these steps are part of my way to change the world for the better.
